Mambo Jambo draws inspiration, concepts and symbols from the rich, diverse and unique African culture to create individual “one-off” pieces of art - in the form of Hand-made embroidered, beaded and collaged clothing and functional items for adults , kids and babies.
In the making, MAMBO JAMBO supports cultural craft development & uplifts talented women & artists from disadvantaged communities by giving them jobs & opportunities to refine their skills. Mothers can work from home & unknown artists can freely express their creativity & have exposure to retail markets. Sharing & mixing of the indigenous diversity in crafts & skills is reflected in each & every Mambo Jambo garment.
